Spectator editor Boris Johnson said he scrapped a column about job

speculation about which departments the axe should fall on.
losses at the Daily Telegraph because it contained inappropriate
speculation about which departments the axe should fall on.
The writer of the piece, media columnist Stephen Glover, is reported to have resigned over the decision.
The Telegraph group owns the Spectator, and
Johnson said he felt it was not the magazine’s place to speculate on
which departments would be thinned out.
He added: “I am sorry because he is a very nice chap and a good
commentator, but there are plenty of other people who want to write
columns for The Spectator.”
