The Western Daily Press helped deliver 6,000 Easter eggs to children whose parents are serving in the Gulf.
The major exercise saw the eggs distributed to as many youngsters in the South West of service personnel as possible in the run up to Easter.
WDP editor Terry Manners said: “We are delighted Cadbury agreed to get involved. It is important for us to think of the families at home as well as those who are on active service.”
Among bases included was the Royal Marines in Plymouth, which includes 42 Commando, with whom WDP picture editor Jon Mills and reporter Richard Edwards have spent the past month.
