Welcome to the new-look relaunched Press Gazette website

By Dominic Ponsford

We've today relaunched the Press Gazette website with a new design on a new platform.

It's the first major change to the website since 2007.

The last five years have seen a few biggish changes in the world of online – most importantly the explosion of social media.

We now have all that social media functionality hard-wired into the site for the first time – so it's much easier to share all our content via Twitter, Facebook and other means.

The site has been developed in-house by Press Gazette owners Progressive Media on the Drupal platform. The new set-up also means that for the first time our network of blogs and our main news content are integrated into one content management system.

Our intention is that the site will provide a much better showcase for the huge breadth of content on Press Gazette. We've also expanded our network of blogs and given them a better showcase on the homepage. If you are interested in blogging for Press Gazette please let me know.

If there is anything that you miss from the old site which you want us to reinstate, any bugs or mistakes in the new set-up or any other feedback you want to give – please let us know.
