Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger and FT.com deputy editor Liisa Rohumaa have been appointed to part-time roles at two universities.
Rusbridger as been appointed as Hugo Young visiting professor of history at Queen Mary, University of London. Rusbridger will deliver his first lecture for the college, about blogs, journalism, and the future of newspapers, on 9 February.
Rohumaa will be joining the Centre for Excellence in Media Practice at Bournemouth University’s media school as online journalist in residence.
She will help the university develop its teaching of online journalism to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and deliver classes and guest lectures.
