Trinity Mirror launches wiki for the North East

Trinity Mirror has launched an interactive guide to the North East after launching a competition for new ideas from staff. draws on 12 years of online archives from Trinity titles in the area, reports Holdthefrontpage. It also allows readers to create and edit their own content – drawing on the idea behind the hugely successful Wikipedia website.
Trinity Mirror web developer Louise Midgley, 28, was behind the project and has received a cash prize and will also receive a cut from any profits the site makes.
