Top of the Pops mag revamps logo

By Press Gazette

Top of the Pops magazine has updated its logo in line with the relaunched All New Top of the Pops television show.

The logo was unveiled on the front cover of the magazine this week along with new stage sets and a new logo in the “backstage” section.

Publisher Alfie Lewis said the international editions would follow suit and the move was designed to give the magazine a greater presence on the news-stands.

He said the changes to the television show would also result in a better quality of stars for the magazine to interview.

“The policy of the All New Top of the Pops is to only have A grade international superstars, whereas in the past it was to have lots of live performances.

The quality of people should be better and we should benefit,” Lewis said.
