Time to get off for Coach & Bus boss

By Press Gazette

Coach & Bus Week editor Mike Morgan has quit after 14 years on the Emap weekly, writes Ruth Addicott.

Morgan, who was editor for 11 years, was reluctant to elaborate on his reasons for leaving, but said he had been in the job “too long”.
“I’ve hit the buffers in terms of doing a weekly and it’s time for the magazine to have a change after 14 years,” he said.

Sources claim his departure was prompted by recent structural changes at Emap and Morgan had become increasingly frustrated that he had to spend much of his time in meetings with senior management.
