After last week’s report of an expenses crackdown at the Daily Telegraph, word reaches me of more belt tightening at Victoria Plaza.

Now I hear me that the organisers of the event ‒ who hope to raise thousands in sponsorship ‒ have found the Telegraph less than grateful for being given the exclusive.
After asking if they could use the Telegraph snapper’s picture in their fundraising brochure they were apparently told: “Sure ‒ it’ll cost you £600.â€
