I hear that the fragrant and talented Liz Day is currently packing her bags at Derry Street, where she’s been a features writer on the Mail on Sunday, and is off to Farringdon Road to take on a new role at The Observer in September.
There she will not only write features, but also contribute to the well-read monthly Woman magazine, under Nicola Jeale.
Before being lured to the MoS by Sian James, the features supremo, Day worked on the Sunday Telegraph for three years ‒ ironically in her short time, under three editors: Dominic Lawson, Sarah Sands and Patience Wheatcroft.
