Telegraph awards

The Daily Telegraph is offering six young sports writers the opportunity to report from a major sporting event this summer as part of its Young Sports Writer awards.

Writers aged 18 to 24 are being invited to write about their most memorable sporting experience.

The overall winner will have their article published in the Telegraph, receive £500 in cash and a week’s work experience on the Telegraph’s sports desk.

Entry forms and information are available online at: www.sport.telegraph.co.uk/young sportswritercompetition. The deadline for entries is 2 April.
