Telegraph & Argus to hold reunion

By Press Gazette

The Bradford Telegraph & Argus is holding a reunion next month.

The event, on 22 May, isn’t solely for journalists or indeed Telegraph & Argus staff – anyone who has had any involvement with the paper is welcome to attend.

Former editor Arnold Hadwin, who is now 70, is hoping to attend and will probably be the oldest former T&A staffer at the reunion.

The event will be held at the Winter Gardens, Station Road, Ilkley, from 7.30pm until 1am.

Tickets are priced £20 each and cover the cost of the venue, music and food. Cheques should be made payable to Alison Garford and sent to 4 Denton Road, Middleton, Ilkley LS29 0AA.

There will be limited accommodation at this address for those wishing to bunk down in a sleeping bag en masse, but more comfortable sleeping arrangements can be found via the Tourist Information Centre – telephone 01934 602319.
