Telegraph Media Group has appointed former Sydney Morning Herald chief Olympics correspondent Jacquelin Magnay to the newly created role of Olympics editor.
Magnay will coordinate Olympic coverage across The Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph and Telegraph.co.uk.
In this role she will also lead and manage the Olympics editorial team, as well as providing insight and analysis on the latest Olympic developments.
Magnay has reported on seven Olympic Games and has won a host of awards, including the prestigious George Munster award for investigative journalism in 2008 and a Walkley Award in 2004.
