Sun to launch new TV title as mags ed leaves

The Sun has revealed it is replacing it Saturday TV magazine with a new title which will ‘celebrate the world of television”.

Sun associate editor Jane Johnson is leading development of the new magazine, which will be launched later this year and include a ‘broader mix of features’as well as TV listings.

Sun Magazines editor Jonathan Worsnop, who launched the Sun TV Mag in 1998, is leaving the paper to ‘pursue new challenges”

He said: ‘I have enjoyed my time at The Sun and it has been a privilege to have edited the TV Mag from start to finish. It is now the right time to look for a new challenge. I leave with immensely fond memories of my time at News International.”

Sun editor Dominic Mohan said: ‘I would like to thank Jonathan for all his hard work and wish him every success for the future.”
