Shortlists unveiled for BSME Awards 2003

Tom Loxley (Maxim), Corinna Schaffer (Top of The Pops), Emma Soames (Saga) and Tim Burrowes (Media Week) are among those on the shortlists for this year’s British Society of Magazine Editors Awards.

The winners will be announced at the awards dinner at the London Hilton, Park Lane, on 24 November.

The shortlists include: Business and professional (non weekly): Amanda Baillieu, Riba Journal; David Ellis, Moneywise; Matthew Gwyther, Management Today; Chris Maillard, Restaurant Magazine; Andrew Sawers, Financial Director; John L Walters, Eye.

Business and professional (weekly): Adrian Barrick, Building; Tim Burrowes, Media Week; Denise Chevin, Housing Today; Eric Musgrave, Drapers; John Welsh, Property Week.

Entertainment: Lorna Cowan, All About Soap; Mark Frith, Heat; Gill Hudson, Radio Times; Colin Tough, What’s On TV.

General Interest and current affairs: Richard Ingrams, The Oldie; Greg Neale, BBC History Magazine; Eric Pooley, Time Europe; Emma Soames, Saga Magazine.
