Scotland on Sunday has boosted its circulation with a three-part series of aerial photography supplements called Scotland from the Sky.
The 24-page colour booklet boosted circulation by 3 per cent year-on-year on 4 January and by 12 per cent on 11 January.
The increases followed two months of healthy ABC figures at the paper. In November it recorded sales of 86,053, up 4.63 per cent year-on-year, and in December sales were 79,672, up 2.19 per cent year-on-year.
Scotland on Sunday started the new year with a new look, changing its masthead to blue letters on a white background.
Editor John McLellan said: “It helps the plugs stand out more.”
He added: “A further enhancement is the use of heavier newsprint for the outside sheet, which allows for sharper and brighter reproduction.”
