The Guardian and The Observer are the first UK papers to be available at Satellite Newspapers’ vending machines in hotels, airports and convention centres around the world.
Electronic versions of the papers are sent to the Netherlands-based company and then transferred by satellite to the kiosks.
Readers can print off the A3 papers, on the same day of publication, in less than two minutes.
Joe Clark, director of circulation at Guardian Newspapers, said: “This new technology enables us to deliver our product to our international audience faster than ever before, and to expand our reach to new locations where previously it would have been impossible to provide timely copies.”
Satellite Newspapers offers the latest editions of 122 newspapers from 50 countries, including leading publications such as the International Herald Tribune, USA Today, Die Welt, Le Monde, El Pais and Komsomolskaya Pravda.
