A former senior BBC editor sacked last year is suing the corporation for unfair dismissal, the Daily Mail and others report.
Jonathan Steer, who worked on programmes including News at Ten and Newsnight, was reportedly dismissed in November after losing an appeal.
The Daily Mail today reports that Steer claims his employers ignored his bipolar disorder, and is claiming both disability discrimination and unfair dismissal.
