Rosie says Hello! to celebrity weekly role

By Press Gazette

Kay Goddard, editor of Hello!, has made her second appointment since taking the helm at the celebrity weekly in November.

She has poached Grazia’s Rosie Nixon, who will join the title later this month as assistant editor (features). Earlier this year, Goddard appointed Thomas Whitaker, ex-showbiz reporter at The Sun as news editor on the magazine.

While at Grazia, Nixon worked as executive entertainment editor, and prior to that, associate editor at Glamour and celebrity director at a number of other women’s magazine titles including Red and New Woman.

Commenting on her appointment, Nixon said: ‘I am thrilled to be joining Hello! at such an exciting time in the weekly magazine market, where sales are driven by celebrity exclusives and the competition to secure them has never been so fierce.”
