Following years of campaigning, the print production and distribution site for the Trinity Mirror Newspaper Group in the Midlands has gained formal union recognition from Amicus. The agreement offers collective bargaining rights to nearly 100 production employees and 24 electricians and engineers. Amicus national officer for newspapers Steve Sibbald said: "This is more good news for the industry."
