Nigel Wrench, 47, presenter of the PM programme on Radio 4, drugged and raped a 27-year-old man he met at a New Year’s Eve party, an Old Bailey jury was told yesterday.
After promising the man work experience and giving him a line of cocaine, Wrench persuaded him to come back to his flat where he drugged and raped him, according to a report in The Guardian. Wrench denies all the charges. The trial continues.
