Two thirds of British publishers have said they expect to increase their digital investment in 2009, despite the global advertising recession, according to the latest survey by the Association of Online Publishers.
The annual AOP census found publishers were predicting a 16 per cent growth in digital revenues this year.
Some 65 per cent of respondents said they were planning closer integration between their traditional business and online.
AOP chairman Alison Reay said: “Given the global trading climate we’re operating in, this is a motivating insight into the mood of UK publishers for the coming year.”
