PR Week survey: 78 per cent say they don’t think Times paywall will work

PR week has commissioned a survey from online market research company Onepoll, to find out how the Times paywall is being perceived.

Here are the top lines: 14 per cent said they think Times Online content is of a higher quality than other newspaper websites; 78 per cent said they did not believe the paid-for online news model would work; two per cent said they saw The Times in a very positive light now it was behind the paywall.

According to PR Week, some 3,000 members of the public were surveyed.
