Picture Editors' Awards shortlist announced

Nominations for the twelfth annual Picture Editors’ Awards have been announced.
The jury of thirty picture editors from national
and regional newspapers and news agencies across the UK and Ireland met
at the Guildhall in London to review more than 8300 images from some
680 photographers.
All newspaper picture editors are now invited to
vote and have until Monday, 11 April, to register their
choices at www.pictureawards.net  where all the nominated images can be seen from 1 March.
The awards will be presented at Guildhall, London, on Monday, 23 May.
