The Press Complaints Commission has today launched a new advertising campaign to help raise awareness of its services.

The commission has created a range of ads for use by magazines, newspapers and websites covered by its code of conduct.

Baroness Peta Buscombe, chairman of the PCC, said: “We are very much committed to increasing awareness of the PCC and its public service.

“This new advertising campaign will vividly convey the help we can provide.

“The more people who use the PCC’s services to achieve redress, on issues like inaccuracy, intrusion and harassment, the better.

‘I urge the newspaper and magazine industry to support this campaign and to positively promote the important work of the PCC.”
