Three newspaper groups, Associated, News Group and MGN, are in the Appeal Court this week to resist an attempt to keep the identity of a suspected murderer and her victim from the public.
The woman is charged with slowly poisoning her small son, who died in Great Ormond Street after she was allowed to continue visiting him.
Because there is a younger sibling in care, the courts have ordered that neither the woman nor her son be named. The three newspaper groups successfully challenged the order in the High Court, but the woman appealed.
