News on the Block, the magazine that goes out free to residents of luxury apartments, is increasing its frequency to monthly.
The title launched in London as a bi-monthly “property lifestyle” magazine in May 2002, has received such a positive response from advertisers, it will go monthly from February.
Managing director Nicolas Shulman said the magazine acted as a “voice” for residents, which local magazines and newspapers failed to do. “When you live in an apartment block, there are a lot of people and things have to be shared. We are able to provide information of interest to residents.”
The magazine covers issues such as noisy neighbours and information about residents’ rights to manage their own block. It has a distribution of 40,000 and also covers legal, financial, shopping and entertainment news.
