News-Day: 8 February, 2012 - How was it for you?

Press Gazette wants to hear what you did yesterday for A Day in the Life of British Journalism – our project telling the story of one 24-hour news cycle.

Reports are already coming in from all over the UK, and the world. Press Gazette contributing editor John Dale is pulling them together into one narrative as I write – to appear in the March edition of Press Gazette magazine and online.

The idea is to create a unique picture of what British journalists really get up to, taking the time period from 6am yesterday (8 February) to 6am today.

Do you think social media companies are doing a good job or a bad job in combating the spread of fake news and conspiracy theories on Covid-19?

Journalism is still the best job in the world – let’s celebrate it!
