Newbury Weekly News launches Hungerford edition

By admin

Family-owned title the Newbury Weekly news has launched a new Hungerford edition.

The new edition will be available from each Thursday throughout the Hungerford, Kintbury and Lambourn area.

The paper is run by the Newbury Weekly News Group. A story about the new edition on newburytoday.co.uk quoted NWN editorial director Brien Beharrell saying:

As someone who previously worked as the NWN’s district reporter for the Hungerford area for 16 years, I’m delighted that we now have the opportunity to launch a Hungerford edition of the NWN.

The NWN has been available in the Hungerford area since February 1867, and celebrates its 145th year almost to the very week of the Hungerford launch, so the timing to launch its first additional weekly edition – specifically for the Hungerford area – is particularly significant.
