New mag targets readership worth '£300bn'

A new yachting magazine has been launched aimed at the world’s super-rich.

Yachting Partners International (YPI), one of the world’s leading superyacht brokerage houses, has appointed London-based Progressive Customer Publishing (PCP) to launch 360° Magazine.

It will be distributed to 10,000 “ultra high net worth individuals collectively worth more than £300bn”.

The mag was officially launched last week at the 21st Monaco Yacht Show. PCP has also won the contract to produce YPI’s luxury superyacht fleet brochure The YPI Selection.

Progressive said that 360° Magazine is a ‘blend of superyacht market insight, broad economic trends and analysis, leading industry interviews and high-end luxury and lifestyle features”.

Sixty per cent of the magazine copies will be distributed in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with 20 per cent going to the US.

There will be no advertising, the magazine is a partnership between Yachting Partners International (YPI) and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management

The 84-page magazine will at first be published biannually with autumn/winter and spring/summer editions but there are plans to increasethe frequency next year.
