A Georgian building on the outskirts of Oxford is the new home of Courier Newspapers.
The company has moved to 20 Marcham Road as a result of the development of a new housing site on the old Ock Street site in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Courier Newspapers chairman Bob Urwin said: “I am very pleased with the positive reaction of staff, who all seem to enjoy their new surroundings.”
The group’s first publication was the South Oxfordshire Courier, launched in 1984. The following year the Oxford Courier was launched. The group has added Property Weekly, Auto Weekly, Villarum and Thames Valley Weekly and in 1996 Courier Newspapers bought the Oxford Journal.
