New editor for Press Gazette

By Press Gazette

Press Gazette has a new editor following its take-over by Wilmington Media.

Dominic Ponsford, 32, joined the magazine as a reporter in 2003, and went on to become chief reporter and then news editor.

He trained as a journalist at Lambeth College and began his career on the Battle Observer, East Sussex, as a district reporter in 1998. He later worked as a senior reporter and features writer on the Evening Advertiser, Swindon.

Press Gazette has now moved offices from Fleet Street to 14-16 Underwood Street, London N1. If you have a story, please call the newsdesk on the new telephone number 0207 3242337, or email pged@pressgazette.co.uk. For a full list of staff contacts see page 18.

The next issue will be out after Christmas, on 5 January.
