New editor for BikeRadar.com

By Rachael

Acting editor of Future’s cycling website BikeRadar.com. Jeff Jones, has been appointed editor permanently.

Jones, who was part of the original launch team in 2007, has been running the site as acting editor since early July.

Jones worked as chief online editor at cyclingnews.com before joining Future in 2007, and has demonstrated his passion for cycling when he won the road race at the Journalists’ World Championship in 2006.

Jones said: ‘I’m very much looking forward to the challenge of taking over as editor of BikeRadar, having been involved with the site since its inception. It was an ambitious project but thanks to our fantastic team we’ve exceeded all expectations in our first year. There’s more to come too, as we’ve got plenty of ideas to improve the site for our rapidly growing band of readers.”
