Angela Linforth has been appointed as the new editor of BBC Homes & Antiques, the magazine's first permanent editor since its move to BBC Magazines Bristol in July.
Linforth had previously been foundations editor at News Mags' Inside Out magazine, and was features editor at BBC Homes & Antiques for a short period last year. Previously, she spent two years as a freelance writer and before that, was deputy editor of Homes & Gardens for five years. Linforth will take up her new position on 11 December.
The BBC Magazines division has also appointed three new production editors: Dave Perrett on its newest launch BBC MindGames; Clare Sturges on BBC Sky at Night Magazine, following the promotion of former production editor Chris Bramley to deputy editor; and Andy Ridgway on BBC Focus magazine, following the departure of Marc Blackmore.
The division has also launched www.gardensillustrated.com. It includes information on the current issue of Gardens Illustrated; a searchable index of back-issue content spanning 13 years; news; and a diary of key events for the month ahead.
