Neil Mackay gets signed up

Investigative journalist Neil Mackay has been signed up by Scottish Media Group’s television production division to produce a number of documentaries, writes Wale Azeez.

He will continue in his role as investigations editor of the Sunday Herald while undertaking his TV work. Mackay is also developing ideas for Channel 4.

An award-winning investigative journalist, Mackay started his career in newspapers in Northern Ireland before moving to Scotland in the mid-Nineties. He specialises in terrorism and intelligence, and is currently writing a book about the invasion of Iraq.
