BBC Good Homes magazine has appointed Caron Bronson, previously associate editor on IPC’s weeklies new project team, as its new deputy editor.
Bronson worked on the launch of Now, having previously been assistant editor on Woman and Woman’s Own.
Georgia Hibberdine also joins the Good Homes team as art director.
Hibberdine has recently been creative director on Period Living magazine, having also worked on IPC’s Homes & Ideas and Ideal Home.
The appointments follow a redesign in May, with 32 extra editorial pages and increased coverage of decorating and property.
Editor of BBC Good Homes, Lisa Allen, predicted the title would show a “significant increase” in the ABCs next week, improving its position in the last results when circulation tumbled 8.8 per cent to 106,213. Allen said it had the potential to become the market leader, toppling Ideal Home, which reported a last ABC of 274,488.
