The company backed by former Mirror editor Piers Morgan is close to
agreeing a deal to buy Press Gazette. A contract is expected to be
signed in early June.
The new company, Press Gazette Ltd, is understood to be planning to
move the magazine’s staff from its Croydon offices to a location in
central London, possibly in the Fleet Street area.
Morgan is expected to make significant changes to the magazine, which
celebrates its 40th birthday later this year.
