London mayor Ken Livingstone’s last appearance before his suspension will be broadcast on LBC News.
The broadcast will be recorded at the Hackney Empire on 28 February for the Mayor’s People’s Question Time and will be exclusively broadcast on DAB digital station LBC News on 1 March at 7pm.
People’s Question Time is a bi-annual meeting that gives Londoners the chance to ask the Mayor and the London Assembly about their plans, priorities and policies for London.
Livingstone has been suspended from office for four weeks for comparing a Jewish Evening Standard journalist to a concentration camp guard.
The ban is due to begin on 1 March, but Livingstone could appeal to the High Court.
The hearing followed a complaint from the Jewish Board of Deputies.
A three-man disciplinary panel ruled: "His treatment of the journalist was unnecessarily insensitive and offensive.
"He persisted with a line of comment likening the journalist’s job to a concentration camp guard despite being told that the journalist was Jewish and found it offensive to be asked if he was a German war criminal."
