Boris Johnson for Mayor watch: The Guardian recently splashed on the interview by Doreen Lawrence, saying that the record on race of candidates for mayor must be an important issue, and Axegrinder agrees wholeheartedly.
However, I now hear that Ken Livingstone has told a number of his researchers to dig up the dirt on Boris, dating back to the late Eighties when he first joined the Daily Telegraph.
Then a few days later, Max Hastings, who first hired Borish (sic) when he was editor of the Torygraph, said we should all support the Henley MP rather than Red Ken. I wonder what editorial line The Guardian will come up with nearer the time?
Methinks Borish's chances are scuppered.
