Former Big Brother contestant Jade Goody and her former boyfriend Jack Tweedy have joined forced to sue for libel over a story in The People.
They claim a front page story, headed ‘Jade and Jack face car fraud arrest”, which was published in June, was defamatory.
ow they are demanding damages of up to £100,000, and an injunction banning publishers MGN from repeating the allegations at the centre of their claim.
They have engaged the services of solicitors Carter Ruck.
