The Society of Editors is launching a new journalism prize called the ‘Rat up a Drainpipe’award, for journalism that has rocked the boat.
The prize will be handed out at the gala dinner during the 10th annual conference from 9-11 November in Bristol, where the BBC‘s Andrew Marr will speak.
The keynote speaker this year is Daily Mail editor Paul Dacre and other confirmed speakers include Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger, PCC chairman Sir Christopher Meyer, and Helen Boaden from the BBC.
