IPC chief Sylvia Auton has been promoted to executive vice president of parent company, Time Inc.
Auton will continue her role as chief executive of IPC, and will also assume responsibility for Southern Progress Corporation – an Alabama-based subsidiary of Time Warner and the business sides of All You and Life magazines.
Stephanie George, currently president of In Style, Real Simple and Essence in the US, has also been made executive vice president of Time Inc.
She and Auton replace Nora McAniff who is stepping down as co-chief operating officer after almost 25 years with Time Inc.
Auton and George will report to Time Inc chair and CEO Ann Moore.
