International Women’s Month gets own title

By Press Gazette

International Women’s Month Magazine, the UK’s only magazine
dedicated to international women’s month, will officially be launched
early in March.

In previous years, the magazine took the shape of
a section in Live listings magazine, but has now expanded to become a
magazine in its own right, and will be available free by mail order.

Publisher
Barbara Campbell, who is a former editor of The Journal , said: “We
felt that it was about time someone produced a magazine to show the
importance of international women’s month and, more importantly, to
recognise the contribution that women make in our society. In
celebrating the achievements of women the magazine is dedicated to
highlighting positive role models in society.”
