The inquest into the death of BBC journalist Kate Peyton, who was murdered in Somalia, has been hit by a last-minute delay.
According to the Independent, the inquest – which was due to begin today – has been adjourned after the BBC asked for more time to study witness statements.
Peyton was killed outsider her hotel in Mogadishu in 2005. Her family have raised concerns about the risk assessment carried out by the corporation before her posting.
