North West Newspapers has launched an up-market glossy lifestyle
magazine in Wales, which is to be edited by award winning journalist
Don Hale.
Aimed at the ABC1 readership, the monthly North Wales
Living is being distributed free for the first month to 8,000 homes and
a further 9,500 are going out to retailers. The November issue will be
sold for £2.50.
The 132-page magazine includes features on fashion, property and homes, as well as arts and entertainment.
Publishing
director Graham Breeze said: “North Wales Living is an aspirational
magazine for a local audience, with content to reflect our readers’
lives and interests.”
Hale
was awarded an OBE for his investigation that led to the release of
Stephen Downing who was jailed for 27 years for a murder he did not
commit.
Breeze added: “We are delighted to have Don Hale on board
for this important launch. Don is passionate about this launch and has
the professionalism to ensure it is successful.”
