Future has launched a new monthly magazine called N-Photo, which it says is the only title dedicated to Nikon photography.
N-Photo launches on 24 November in print and digital form and is aimed at Nikon owners of all skill levels.
Editor Chris George said: ‘Photographers are passionate about the camera system that they use – and they love brand-specific advice. N-Photo is 100 per cent Nikon and 100 per cent independent, giving Nikon users no-nonsense, step-by-step advice – to help them take better pictures and buy the best kit.”
The launch of N-Photo – which joins the digital creative portfolio that includes Digital Camera and the recently launched Practical Photoshop – comes after the success of the Canon-specific title PhotoPlus.
Each edition will feature ‘practical, hands-on advice”, ‘insight from Nikon-using professionals, hundreds of inspirational images, and in-depth gear reviews”, and will include a free cover disc featuring video tuition for areas such as shooting skills and photo editing techniques.
Future’s digital creative portfolio publisher Matthew Pierce said: ‘Future has a peerless understanding of this sector, and a proven track record of success. Digital Camera is the UK’s best-selling newsstand photography magazine, and PhotoPlus has underlined how readers love the specialist focus of a manufacturer-specific title.
‘Nikon continues to enjoy impressive growth, and has a very large, loyal following. Launching a Nikon-specific title now makes perfect sense, and N-Photo’s editorial package offers Nikon users a truly unique, tailor-made experience.”
The magazine will cost £4.99.
