The publisher of Bella magazine is hoping to attract new readers to the women’s weekly with a “fresh new look”.
The
Bauer title, which maintained a steady circulation of 428,000 in the
latest round of ABC figures, hit the newsstand with its relaunch issue
on Tuesday, while remaining priced at 70p.
The magazine includes
a mix of fashion, beauty, health and home features, alongside true-life
stories in the same vein as stablemates Take A Break and That’s Life!.
Publishing director Louise Newton said: “Bella is a wonderful brand with huge loyalty from readers and advertisers alike.
“Although we are giving the magazine a fresh new look and some new features, we are keeping close to the original Bella values.
“Our
readers love Bella and we hope that by giving the magazine extra appeal
at the newsstand, we can encourage and entice a new audience to the
magazine.”
