Former editor’s TV career blooms

Former Times and Daily Express journalist Jane Owen is to present a new gardening programme for BBC Two with Diarmuid Gavin.

Gardens Through Time is a sevenpart series in which seven period gardens at RHS Harlow Carr, Harrogate, are recreated.

The first in the series, which is broadcast at 8pm on Tuesday 2 November looks at the Regency period. Owen was Weekend section editor on The Times and launched DX magazine at the Daily Express.

Gardens Through Time is produced for BBC Two by Twofour Productions.
