Women’s editor at Wolverhampton’s Express & Star, Anne-Laure Domenichini, is leaving the paper to return to work in Reims, France.
She leaves after nine years in the West Midlands, which saw her become the region’s News Reporter of the Year in 1996 for her reports on the murder of French hitchhiker Celine Figard, whose body was found in woods near Worcester. She befriended the girl’s family and followed all the twists and turns of the story.
Domenichini will be head of communications and PR for Laurent Perrier champagne.
