Emap Performance role goes to Rich

Marcus Rich, managing editor of Emap’s FHM Worldwide, has been appointed to the new post of managing director at Emap Performance.

Rich will oversee the company’s rock, pop and dance titles including Smash Hits!, Kerrang! and Q, as well as related television and web products.

A former director of Emap Metro in the Nineties, Rich has also worked as director of Emap Australia and general manager of Emap Peterson’s men’s and teen titles in New York. He will take up his new post in January 2004.
