Dow Jones Newswires, an independent provider of real-time financial
news, has appointed Andrea Hotter as assistant news editor on its
commodities desk.
Hotter will be responsible for coverage of the
metals, softs (foodstuff) and grains markets for Europe, the Middle
East and Africa (EMEA), and will oversee a team of London-based
reporters and contributors throughout the region. She will report to
Adam Smallman, energy editor, EMEA, who recently added commodities to
his portfolio.
Hotter joins Newswires from Mitsui Bussan Commodities London, where she has worked as a commodities broker for the past year.
